Monetary Authority of Singapore: “Response to feedback received on public consultation on guidelines on outsourcing”
Feedback and comments from September 2014 consultation papers on the Guidelines on Outsourcing (the “Guidelines”)
In September 2014 the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) proposed revisions to the Guidelines to Outsourcing to raise standards in the wake of outsourcing becoming more prevalent and complex since the set of existing Guidelines was first issued in 2004.
The consultation period closed on 7 October 2014.
(These Guidelines from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on Outsourcing (“Guidelines”) set out expectations of an institution that has entered into any outsourcing arrangement or is planning to outsource its business activities to a service provider. An institution should conduct a self-assessment of all existing outsourcing arrangements against these Guidelines.)
