Video interview: Michael Flynn, Talbot Underwriting
The transition from waterfall to agile, and the continuing importance of manual testing.

Michael Flynn, head of IT quality assurance at Talbot Underwriting, explains how testers take on new responsibilities in agile, acting as stand-ins for product owners in the development process – and manual testing will continue to be a big part of it. Flynn thinks that automation is essential, but it is limited by the ‘pesticide paradox’, where automated scripts can only look for bugs that are known already.
