HCL Technologies Releases AI-Based Testing Automation Tool for Mobile Software

HCL Technologies has launched HCL Turbo, an end-to-end testing automation platform, powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Aimed at communication service providers, HCL Turbo integrates with existing testing tools and equipment. The new platform utilises AI and analytics to automatically plan test scenarios and provide automatic test orchestration. It can be deployed in the cloud, on-premise or in hybrid environments. Turbo is intended to address a market gap as product testing, previously the responsibility of devise manufacturers, shifts to service providers. “The emergence of virtualised and software-defined networks has significantly complicated network testing and fragmented accountability,” said GH Rao, President of Engineering and R&D Services, HCL Technologies, in a press release. “HCL is directly addressing this shift by introducing an AI-based test lifecycle automation platform that seamlessly integrates into existing testing environments,” he added.
