As competition in cloud services heats up, Infosys has announced a partnership with Alphabet’s Google Cloud Platform to offer cloud transformation and migration services. The two companies will offer solutions and services to large enterprises, to facilitate their adoption of a cloud-first strategy. Separately, Infosys is also reported to be working on AI-driven solutions and machine learning to focus on digitising the supply chain. The solutions include Analytics Workbench for augmenting data platforms to deliver end-to-end self-service capabilities and Information Grid, which provides a pipeline for data movement to Google Cloud Platform. On the analytics front, the company has rolled out a solution called Customer Genome, reportedly helping enterprises build a self-service driven foundation for explorative, predictive and prescriptive analytics. All these tools and partnerships, as well as the recently launched Data Native Intelligent Platform, are part of Infosys’ bid to strengthen and grow its toolkit for enterprise digital transformation offering.
