Embedded analytics specialist, Jinfonet Software, has rolled out support for running its core reporting tool, JReport, in a Docker container. JReport on Docker allows for more agile, customised development and deployment of JReport, by reducing launch times and resource requirements, compared to deploying on traditional virtual machines, the company said. “JReport on Docker gives developers the advantage of faster develop and deploy cycles, which ultimately leads to shorter go-to-market for ISVs and quicker production-ready builds for enterprises,” said Dean Yao, Director of Marketing for Jinfonet Software. “Docker container environments speed the development process for our customers when embedding analytics into their application frameworks as well as when building sophisticated reports and dashboards.” JReport 15.5 is available to download in a Docker image from Docker Hub and the Red Hat Container Catalogue.
