Israeli insurer The Phoenix selects TestCraft’s cloud-based testing solution

The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. announces successful implementation of TestCraft’s codeless test automation SaaS platform

The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd., one of the largest insurance companies in Israel, has announced that it has selected TestCraft’s codeless test automation SaaS platform to automate much of its manual testing operations.

The insurance giant says that the move will allow The Phoenix to develop its applications faster and better by relying on modern agile development and deployment methodologies.

Financial companies tend to shy away from cloud-based solutions for a variety of security and compliance reasons, and to clear this hurdle, TestCraft had to provide The Phoenix with substantial security proofs and certifications.

The Phoenix is now in the process of expanding test automation gradually to other organisational arms of the business. Shlomo Shamai, The Phoenix’s Chief Information Officer, said “the efficiency potential of TestCraft is so promising that we are looking now to implement TestCraft’s codeless automation across a wide variety of our systems and expect to triple the efficiency of our quality operations”.

Currently, The Phoenix has a team of 45 testers that until now has largely operated manually and work on a sprawling, user-facing network of websites that require constant testing, monitoring, and upgrading, the company says. The reliance on manual testing has been a burden for the insurer, holding back their efforts to optimise and improve their online presence.

Dror Todress, TestCraft’s Co-Founder and CEO, says that “winning The Phoenix contract is a testament to the strength of our platform and the validity of our offerings. We are looking forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation with The Phoenix. The team has been a source of inspiration for us as they drove us to further develop our platform”.
