Connecticut-based QualiTest, a pure play software testing and business assurance company, has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Orasi Software, an Atlanta-based software reseller and professional services company, to acquire its testing services division. At closing, the two companies will enter into a strategic partnership in a bid to allow for more comprehensive offerings for their respective customers. The addition of Orasi’s testing services division will expand QualiTest’s presence in the US, particularly in the Southeast and Midwest, and will add Tier 1 multinational corporations to its existing customer portfolio. “We are delighted to strengthen our offering and expand our reach with the addition of Orasi’s testing services business. Their reputation for excellence, particularly in automated testing, and the company’s strong presence in the US will help grow our customer base and provide enhanced services for our existing customers,” said Ayal Zylberman, Chief Executive Officer of QualiTest. Testing services customers of the two firms will have access to more than 3,000 testers based in locations across the globe. “The expert testing team, assets and capabilities we’ve developed within Orasi will continue to thrive as part of the world’s largest pure play software testing company. This strategic combination benefits Orasi, QualiTest, our employees, clients and partners around the globe,” added Nick Kavadellas, President and CEO of Orasi. Orasi TSD will be incorporated into QualiTest’s US operations. And Orasi will continue to operate its remaining support, reseller, implementation and proprietary software businesses.
