Software development and testing specialist SmartBear has appointed Frank Roe as its chief revenue officer. Roe joins the company from Oracle, where he was Area Vice President of US – East Sales for its Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud Business Unit. He brings 25 years of experience of scaling sales, services and marketing operatons, with a focus on SaaS applications, development, deployment and integration markets. Before Oracle, Roe was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales at Rogue Wave Software where he drove double digit organic revenue growth and integrated multiple acquired companies, capitalizing on cross selling opportunities. Roe’s responsibilities at SmartBear will centre around driving revenue growth, international expansion and the integration of new acquisitions. “SmartBear is in the middle of a rapid growth phase,” said Justin Teague, CEO of SmartBear. “As we take the company to the next level, we need leadership that can help us expand globally, work with our channel partners, and better serve our customers.
