Testing Mavens, a provider of software testing services, has acquired the PerfAgents platform from PerfAgents, expanding its capabilities in performance testing and monitoring.
Although financial details have not been disclosed, Testing Mavens said the takeover deal includes intellectual property, technology assets, and the team behind PerfAgents.
PerfAgents, known for its AI-driven synthetic monitoring platform, provides tools for proactive performance testing, helping companies monitor and optimise their software applications, explained Jayan Joseph, the co-founder of Testing Mavens.
“This acquisition enhances our ability to deliver advanced performance testing solutions and enables us to address the growing demand for AI-powered monitoring,” Joseph explained.
“This will provide our customers with proactive tools to improve their application performance and minimize issues before they impact end-users,” he stressed.
By acquiring PerfAgents, Testing Mavens aims to strengthen its performance testing solutions, particularly by integrating AI to deliver deeper insights into application performance, Joseph continued.
PerfAgents’ CEO, Ajith Joseph, expressed confidence in the deal, noting that “this acquisition is a great fit for both companies. The synergy between Testing Mavens and PerfAgents will allow our platform to reach a broader audience, bringing greater value to clients through enhanced end-to-end testing and performance monitoring capabilities.”
The acquisition is expected to be finalised by the end of April 2025, with plans to integrate PerfAgents’ technology into Testing Mavens’ broader suite of testing services.
Testing Mavens is a software testing boutique that offers managed testing services to businesses across various industries, including financial services, and is mostly specialised in functional and performance testing.
Meanwhile, PerfAgents provides an AI-driven synthetic monitoring platform designed to monitor application performance in real-time. The platform uses advanced algorithms to detect and resolve performance issues before they affect end users.
