Tricentis, the Texas-headquartered continuous testing and quality engineering firm, has acquired New York-based Waldo, a no-code mobile test automation platform. Details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Waldo’s platform will extend Tricentis’ mobile testing offering with new native, hybrid and web mobile test automation capabilities, Tricentis said. Testing teams will now be able to generate automated tests from within a browser window, Tricentis claims.
Commenting on the announcement, Tricentis chairman and CEO, Kevin Thompson [pictured] said: “We believe the combination of what Waldo brings from a depth-of-knowledge and technology perspective combined with what Tricentis offers in our breadth-of-test automation expertise will allow us to deliver higher-quality mobile applications at the speed and scale businesses require.”
