UiPath is accelerating its transformation into a full-scale AI automation powerhouse, expanding its platform for agentic automation and orchestration with new features and pre-built solutions that aim to redefine how enterprises, particularly those in regulated sectors such as financial services, manage testing, governance, and operational efficiency.
The New York-listed firm unveiled the latest capabilities for its UiPath Platform for Agentic Automation and Orchestration, positioning it as a “comprehensive ecosystem that enables organisations to deploy rapid agentic automation with built-in security and governance.”
The expansion builds on the launch earlier this year of UiPath Test Cloud, which introduced AI-driven testing agents and automation capabilities purpose-built for enterprise-scale QA teams.
“As more organisations look to AI agents and automation to become more efficient, many still struggle to identify the right use cases and build agents to transform processes into repeatable and long-running automated workflows,” UiPath said in its announcement.
“Add to that the inherent challenges in connecting data across the many systems and apps behind those processes, and it’s easy to see why these efforts are stalling out.”
The new release includes orchestration and process-excellence tools, pre-built industry solutions, testing accelerators, and a unified governance framework. UiPath said these enhancements “help enterprises to accelerate ROI realisation of their agentic transformation efforts.”
Integrated within the platform, UiPath Maestro delivers end-to-end orchestration, giving business users real-time visibility into claims, loans, disputes, and investigation workflows.
According to the firm, Maestro’s pre-built process applications enable “seamless modeling, management, and optimisation” of complex operational lifecycles.
Cloud-based testing
The company’s Test Cloud, launched in April of this year, represents the next stage of UiPath’s testing evolution — a move toward AI-augmented and agentic testing designed to eliminate bottlenecks in software delivery.
Gerd Weishaar, general manager and senior vice president of testing products at UiPath, said the new platform “uses AI to amplify tester productivity across the testing lifecycle, designed for efficiencies and cost savings.”
He added that UiPath Test Cloud “equips professionals with AI agents such as an autopilot and testing agents built with Agent Builder to act as collaborative partners throughout the testing lifecycle.”
Weishaar argued that “traditional testing is recognised by CIOs and CTOs as the biggest bottleneck to delivering new innovations,” stressing that legacy manual testing tools are “costly, slow, and resource intensive.”
A UiPath-commissioned study by research firm IDC found that organisations using Test Cloud have improved test efficiency by 36%, doubled the rate of new feature delivery, reduced outages by 50%, and cut troubleshooting time by 93%. Cisco, one of the early adopters, is reportedly “cutting its manual testing efforts nearly in half with Autopilot.”
“Agentic testing marks a new era for banks to advance an area of their business that is still stubbornly manual and time intensive.”

He continued: “Testing teams engage interactively with AI agents that act like partners in collaborating, supporting, and working in tandem with testing professionals around the clock across the entire testing lifecycle.”
At the development layer, UiPath has introduced a suite of new agent-building tools under its Studio environment. “With UiPath’s AI Agent Builder, teams get a new visual canvas for easier debugging, automatic optimisation to improve quality, and reusable templates that speed deployment into production,” Weishaar said.
New conversational agents now integrate directly into Teams, Slack, and Microsoft Copilot, with voice and human hand-off capabilities, while Coded Agents offer plug-in support for external services and a secure Labs Sandbox for experimentation.
UiPath also unveiled Screenplay and API Workflows, designed to let users build automations using natural language. By combining the firm’s robotic process automation (RPA) and API layers with large language models, these features aim to “simplify development for every employee and reduce the time and cost of agent and automation building.”
Regulatory pressure
With financial institutions under growing pressure from regulations such as DORA and the EU AI Act, UiPath emphasised that the expanded platform embeds compliance and trust by design.
New document-processing enhancements in UiPath IXP enable secure, automated handling of sensitive financial data, including “advanced data extraction, validation, and agentic looping” for complex documents. These capabilities are built for high-value use cases such as contract comparison and system-of-record validation.
On the QA side, UiPath said its Test Cloud now offers “self-healing test automation, autonomous testing, and chatting with UiPath’s AI-driven Autopilot in Test Manager, delivering a true end-to-end solution for agentic testing.”
Governance remains a cornerstone. The company has built “extended agent guardrails for controlled agency and sensitive data use protection, coupled with content moderation for real-time PII masking.” Its Unified Audit 2.0 provides “a single source of truth to streamline compliance, accelerate investigations, and enforce accountability.”
For clients such as Allegis Global Solutions, these agentic systems are already reshaping enterprise operations.
“Managing a portfolio of global workforce solutions clients along with thousands of partners in our supplier network presents unique challenges,” claimed Paul Kistner, Global Head of Business Transformation at Allegis Global Solutions. ”
Graham Sheldon, UiPath’s Chief Product Officer, was qucik to add to that “AI adoption is on the rise, but tangible benefits are elusive due to lack of clear business ROI, disconnected processes, tools, data, and now also AI agent sprawl. AI transformation leaders have told us they want one AI platform to manage it all.”
He argued that “the expanded platform gives them the ability to readily build agents, drive automation across their most common use cases, and orchestrate processes from end to end with the confidence of security and compliance at every step.”
