Microsoft to Offer Security and Compliance Subscription Bundles

Microsoft continues its push into enterprise services with two new 365 subscription bundles, comprising security and compliance services. The Microsoft 365 Identity & Threat Detection package will combine Microsoft Threat Protection (Azure ATP, WIndows Defender ATP and Office 365 ATP) plus Microsoft Cloud App Security and Azure Active Directory. 365 Information Protection & Compliance package combines Office 365 Advanced Compliance and Azure Information Protection services and is aimed at Chief Compliance Officers. These new packages are aimed at organisations which might not be ready to subscribe to the full Microsoft E5 bundle. The two new bundles will be offered alongside current Microsoft 365 plans. The company expects that the vast majority of clients taking advantage of the bundles will  already be users of Microsoft 365’s E3 bundle, the previous iteration of Microsoft’s Enterprise subscription.
