Tech services firm ProArch has reached a deal to buy Enhops, a software testing and quality assurance company based in Plano, Texas, and Hyderabad, India.

Founded in 2015, Enhops provides services in test assessment, test centre of excellence, process establishment and functional and non-functional testing. Most of its clients are in the financial services space, including some of the biggest banks in the U.S., according to its website.

When approached by QA Financial, both companies declined to disclose any financial terms of the deal although ProArch did confirm the takeover is backed by private equity firm MSouth Capital.

Atlanta-based ProArch is a digital transformation, modernisation and managed services provider which specialises in IT and cloud modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics and digital product development.

According to Santosh Kaveti, the chief executive officer of ProArch, Enhops’ core proficiencies lie in digital product quality with offerings in quality assurance, quality engineering and quality advisory services, with a client base of mostly large banks and other large financial institutions, mostly in the U.S.

“The acquisition enables ProArch to expand its software and quality assurance expertise and further augment its product engineering practice,” Kaveti explained in an emailed statement.

Enhops’ 120 employees will join the ProArch team to deepen its competency in quality assurance, he confirmed, with no job losses anticipated.

“ProArch and Enhops have complementary offerings, making the union a natural fit,” Kaveti continued.

“Our combined resources, especially in the areas of product engineering and data, will significantly enhance our ability to provide superior digital modernization services for our clients,” he concluded.
