California-based TD Synnex has struck a partnership with cybersecurity firm Splunk to expand its security testing solutions, the company told QA Financial.
TD Synnex, which offers cybersecurity-related testing solutions across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean, said the move is meant to bolster the firm’s cybersecurity testing solutions portfolio and it allows the company to offer more tech services.
“TD Synnex seeks to augment its cybersecurity offerings through this partnership with Splunk,” explained Jessica McDowell, senior vice president, business development & strategy.
“This move is part of the company’s strategy to focus on testing solutions in high-growth technology areas such as security, networking, cloud, data, and AI,” she added.
AI efforts
Apart from cybersecurity testing tools, TD Synnex has also stepped up its artificial intelligence efforts in recent months.
In fact, only last week it announced a new partnership with micro-chip giant Nvidia.
“This is an exciting expansion for the organisation because not only does it align with TD Synnex’s continued focus on high-growth technologies across security, networking, cloud, data, and AI, but it demonstrates our commitment to test solutions in the market,” McDowell said.
She stressed that partnerships like these are paramount to “stay ahead of marketplace demands that continue to grow at a rapid pace and amplify additional strategic opportunities for our reseller partners to drive adjacent sales and use cases across industry sectors.”
