Atlanta-based testing solution provider TestGrid has developed, tested and launched a new platform that can run tests at unprecedented speed due to its artificial intelligence-powered operating system, the company shared with QA Financial.

The provider of end-to-end automation cloud and on-premise testing solutions, which serves a range of large banks and other financial institutions across North America, has brought its new CoTester platform to the market, said Harry Rao, since December 2021 the CEO of TestGrid.

The solution is largely focused on simplifying and speeding up current testing processes, explained Rao, who is also the founder of the company.

Calling the new solution “trailblazing” and the “first of its kind”, he went on to claim that, largely due to the AI technology that is driving the platform, CoTester “is dedicated to transforming the landscape of software testing with its unparalleled capabilities.”

“Think of it as having an extra brain in your team, one that’s tireless, exceptionally knowledgeable, and infinitely adaptable.”

When asked to elaborate, he pointed out that the tool “is designed to liberate software testers from the mundane, enabling them to focus on shipping revolutionary software at unparalleled speeds.”

In fact, Rao said “CoTester is more than just a tool; think of it as a dynamic addition to one’s team. It doesn’t just understand the intricacies of software testing; it excels in them.”

He added: “From Selenium to Cypress, and Appium to Robot, CoTester is an expert in every testing framework one utilises, blending into the existing processes.”

‘We are leading’

Rao was keen to stress that the new solution “encapsulates the spirit of innovation” with this launch.

“Our goal was to revolutionise testing, and we are not just on track; we are leading the way. Think of it as having an extra brain in your team, one that’s tireless, exceptionally knowledgeable, and infinitely adaptable.”

He added: “This is not just an assistant; it’s a partner in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in software development. You’re not just hiring another team member; you are unlocking a realm of possibilities.”

Manual and automated testing

When asked by QA Financial to explain the product in more detail, Rao said that, post-training, CoTester “steps into action, it can flawlessly craft and execute both manual and automated test cases.”

Designed to identify and assign bugs to team members, it can sit in sprints, take notes, and provide sprint summaries with actionable items, he continued.

Rao is convinced that “what sets CoTester apart is its evolutionary nature. With every task, it not only grows more adept but also fine-tunes its skills, promising ever-increasing efficiency and accuracy.”

According to the industry veteran, “this self-improving capability”, as he put it, ensures that CoTester is not merely a solution for today but a partner for many teams within banks and other financials services firms, “as it constantly elevates the quality and productivity of one’s software testing efforts.”
