Consulting services provider Accenture has acquired US-based SAP partner Intrigo Systems for an undisclosed sum. This marks the latest step in its concentrated push into digital, cloud and security services, announced by CEO Pierre Nanterm in December 2016. Intrigo specialises in systems integration for SAP enterprise and cloud solutions across e-commerce, supply chain and procurement. Founded in 2009, Intrigo adds to key supply chain areas like SAP’s Integrated Business Planning and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, giving Accenture the necessary expertise to help enhance customers’ supply chain management through improved real-time collaboration with suppliers, said the company. “We are in the era of the intelligent supply chain, where technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation and analytics allow the supply chain to serve as a growth engine as it connects to all elements seamlessly, with a focus on delivering value,” said Bhaskar Ghosh, group chief executive, Accenture Technology Services.
