Esprow, the automated testing specialist, has announced a deal with London-based financial app development platform Genesis Global to test FIX connectivity and message processing.

Genesis required testing for a project that revolved around multiple Financial Information eXchange (FIX) payments sessions, demanding highly scalable testing for simulating millions of high-velocity messages.

James Harrison (pictured), the CTO and co-founder of Genesis Global, said: “With our solution needing to process many hundreds of thousands of FIX messages per second, we wanted to independently validate our performance in processing these flows accurately and predictably.  We chose Esprow to help in simulating replayable, real-life workflows and their service helped us deliver the project on time and on budget.”

Founded in 2015, the Genesis Global low-code platform is built for financial markets, containing more than 25 customisable components for fast and flexible development. The platform is able to integrate with a range of legacy order management systems, post-trade systems, and to support the development of new platforms.

Designed for automating testing for financial applications, the Esprow ETP platform supports a range of tools for FIX, such as ETP Studio and S-box for API design, management, and testing, ETP C-Box for client onboarding, and the ETP Markets exchange-simulation service. ETP supports well known protocols such as FIX and Swift, while ETP Studio can be used for multi-protocol testing.
