India-based IT consultancy Tata (TCS) has launched the latest edition of Jile, its cloud-based agile devops solution. The first edition of Jile launched in August 2018, aimed at helping distributed teams adopt agile delivery methods at scale. Jile 2.0 builds on these capabilities, serving multiple distributed teams delivering large products. To this end, new additions to the software include a large product layer for synchronised, incremental delivery of large systems made up of multiple sub products, across different tech stacks. The product is aimed at enterprises, aiming to speed up their adoption of Agile across multiple product teams. According to a press release from the company, Jile integrates product management activities, such as visioning, strategic planning, and roadmapping, into Agile development, thus aligning the execution with the business strategy.
