France-based performance testing specialist Neotys has released a new version of its proprietary load testing software, NeoLoad 6.9. The new release includes an improvement in Neotys’ test as code feature set, which will allow test engineers to define and use SLAs from code to automate pass/fail settings based on expected behaviours. There’s also a new integration with Worksoft, allowing them to reuse and convert functional test scripts as performance test scripts. The new release will also allow test engineers to see the availability status of load generators, while setting up a test. And, arguably most importantly, Neotys has introduced a resource reservation function, allowing testers to reserve load testing infrastructure and virtual users by date and duration to guarantee resources dedicated for testing. Neotys will host a demonstration of NeoLoad 6.9 to in a webinar on March 21.
