Northern Trust to keynote QA Financial Digital Forum USA

QA Financial.com has opened registration for its next major online event: The QA Financial Digital Forum USA, which will run in US working hours over two days on September 23rd and 24th. The agenda focus in on AI and automation for software quality assurance, and you can see the full agenda – and register to attend – at www.qa-financial.com

Over those two days, we’ll be focusing on the key challenges financial firms face in automating software development and quality assurance. In particular, our speakers will be addressing the regulatory and compliance requirements that increasingly define our idea of software risk management.

In the era of artificial intelligence, with the new opportunities of quantum computing on the horizon, banks, insurance companies, trading venues and asset managers have larger,  more expensive, decisions to make on the right technology investments for their business. And underlying those decisions is one key question: how do I know I am delivering better apps? The QA Financial Forum is where the experts meet to discuss that question, share their ideas, and make some new contacts.

According to Northern Trust’s Subhadeep Bhattacharjee, the “rocket fuel” for improving quality is a new blend of centralised services and federated development. So what exactly should be centralised, and how do firms ensure they have the right quality gates for apps in the DevOps era? We’ll be discussing with Bhattercharjee the new diagnostics and dashboards for code quality that are critical to the development of CI/CD at Northern Trust, in particular the bank’s Automated Production Validation System. Subhadeep will also be taking a deeper dive into two technical topics that are high on the agenda at many leading financial firms: the integration and risk management of open source tools and also the roll-out of microservices technologies.

This QA Financial Forum event is designed and scheduled for a US-base audience of professionals working for financial firms large and small. Other presentations feature senior professionals from US Bank, Brown Brothers Harriman, CNA Insurance … and more.
