Qualitest, which describes itself as “the world’s largest pure-play software testing and quality assurance company”, has acquired QA InfoTech, an Indian business which employs around 1,000 testers.

Qualitest said that the acquisition will enhance Qualitest’s ability to deliver automation services, and almost triple its capacity for offshore delivery. QAInfoTech operates two QA Centers of Excellence; one located in the Indian IT hub of Noida, India and another in Detroit, Michigan.

“QA InfoTech team’s automation expertise will augment our existing offerings to increase our clients’ deployment velocity, whilst increasing our testing accuracy,” said Norm Merritt, Qualitest’s CEO. “Together, we can collectively leverage our core competencies to deliver the most innovative, practical and flexible automation solutions available.”

Qualitest is majority-owned by international private equity group Bridgepoint, which acquired the company in October 2019, and has has operations in the United States, UK, Israel, India and Romania.
